HP and Oracle have a long standing relationship around modernization called AMI (Application Modernization Initiative).  This relationship is based on a common desire to move our customers off of legacy applications and data onto open systems in order to lower cost, increase agility and decrease risk.    This video is a discussion with Oracle, HP and the customer regarding one of the successful AMI legacy modernization projects.  The project was for the Italian Ministry of Instruction, University and Research (or MIUR), and involved a combination of re-hosting, re-architecture, rewrite and COTS replacement.
